Join New Hampshire Astronomical Society educational outreach co-chair Richard Schueller http://nhastro.com/, staff from the Athol Public Library with members from the Athol Bird and Nature Club for an evening of star gazing at Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust’s Skyfields Arboretum.
Skyfields Arboretum, Athol—Come stargaze with Mount Grace! Away from city lights but close to home, Skyfields lives up to its name with a lovely view of clear, bright stars. Join us at 1461 Old Keene Road on Tuesday, November 18 from 6-8pm and spend an evening with the stars. We will have a telescope, graciously provided by the Athol Public Library, Dress warmly, bring a flashlight and binoculars if possible. Discover a new way to enjoy the dark, chilly evenings ahead. Hot beverages will be provided. In the case of uncooperative weather, this free event will be held November 20th.
