Millers River Watershed Council

MRWC’s mission is to protect and enhance the health of the Millers River and its watershed for the long-term benefit of its human and non-human residents. They are a core partner, and support ABNC programs and the MREC facility.

Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust

Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust benefits the environment, the economy, and future generations by protecting significant agricultural, natural, and scenic lands and encouraging land stewardship in northern and central Massachusetts. They support ABNC programs and the MREC facility.

Alan E. Rich Environmental Park

The Alan E. Rich Environmental Park is a downtown park welcoming visitors with car top boat access, picnic benches, and a nature trail through Cass Meadow and woodlands along the Millers River.

Green Clean Athol

Green Clean Athol is a community task force dedicated to keeping Athol clean and decreasing our environmental footprint.

Harvard Forest

The Harvard Forest is a department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) of Harvard University. From a center comprised of 4,000 acres of land, research facilities, and the Fisher Museum, the scientists, students, and collaborators at the Forest explore topics ranging from conservation and environmental change to land-use history and the ways in which physical, biological and human systems interact to change our earth.

Massachusetts Butterfly Club

The Massachusetts Butterfly Club sponsors state-wide butterfly activities to promote education, conservation, interpretation, and fun! We invite people of all ages and levels of expertise to attend our meetings, programs, field trips, and butterfly counts and to become members of our club.

Millers River Fisherman’s Assoc.

The Millers River Fishermen’s Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Millers River and its tributaries. Our goal is to make the Millers River the number one trout stream in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts once again.

New England Equestrian Center Assoc.

New England Equestrian Center Assocociation is an organization of dedicated members willing to donate their time and labor to ensure that the Equestrian Park continues to thrive, grow, and provide opportunities for riders, drivers and others to enjoy the over 200 acres we call home.

North Quabbin Garden Club

The North Quabbin Garden Club’s purpose is to encourage interest in all phases of home gardening, to promote better horticultural practices, and to foster civic beauty, with an emphasis on native plants, organic gardening, and the conservation of natural resources.

North Quabbin Woods

North Quabbin Woods supports a creative economy through the promotion of ecotourism, local artisans, and cultural events for the scenic North Quabbin region. It is a project of the North Quabbin Community Coalition, helping to promote the area’s assets through a comprehensive North Quabbin Area Directory and Calendar.

North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership

The North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership (NQRLP) is a voluntary association of public and private groups focused on conserving land and our rural lifestyle.

Mass Cultural Council

The Mass Cultural Council has contributed many times the efforts and programs at the MREC.
